General conditions of sale

1 – Object

These general conditions of sale (CGV) define the rights and obligations of the parties in the context of the sale of horses and ponies, horse boarding and equestrian services offered by the Écuries de Beauregard.

Any reservation, service or sale made with Écuries de Beauregard implies full acceptance of these general conditions.

3 – Activities and services offered

The Écuries de Beauregard offer the following services in particular:

  • sale of sport horses and ponies;
  • promotion and sports preparation of horses;
  • horse boarding;
  • rental or provision of horses in certain cases;
  • services related to work and monitoring of horses.

4 – Price

The prices of horses, ponies and services are communicated directly to the customer on request or during discussions with the stable.

Unless otherwise indicated, prices are expressed in euros and may be subject to VAT in accordance with current Belgian legislation.

Les Écuries de Beauregard reserves the right to modify their prices at any time. The applicable price is that communicated at the time of conclusion of the agreement between the parties.

5 – Reservation

Reservations for a horse, pony or service can be made by direct contact with the stable, in particular by telephone, email or during a visit.

A reservation can be confirmed by paying a deposit. Unless otherwise agreed, this deposit is not refundable in the event of cancellation by the customer.

6 – Sale of horses and ponies

The horses and ponies offered for sale are presented with information known at the time of sale concerning their age, origin, general condition and level of work.

The customer is invited to carry out the checks he deems necessary before any acquisition, in particular by organizing a purchasing veterinary visit carried out by a veterinarian of his choice.

Once the sale is concluded, the horse is deemed accepted by the buyer in the condition it is in at the time of sale.

7 – No sports guarantee

A horse's athletic performance depends on many factors, including training, rider, environment and daily management.

Écuries de Beauregard cannot guarantee any future sporting results, even if the horse has shown certain previous skills or performances.

8 – Pension for horses

Horses boarded at the Beauregard Stables benefit from accommodation in boxes and access to the stable's infrastructure according to the terms defined between the parties.

The stable undertakes to provide the usual daily care (feeding, maintenance of the box, general supervision).

The horse owner remains responsible for veterinary costs, farriery, dentistry and other specific care necessary for his horse.

9 – Veterinary costs and care

In the event of illness, injury or veterinary emergency concerning a horse entrusted to the stable, Écuries de Beauregard reserves the right to call in a veterinarian in order to preserve the health and well-being of the animal.

Veterinary costs incurred in this context remain the responsibility of the horse owner.

10 – Liability and risks linked to equestrian activities

Equestrian activities carry inherent risks associated with handling and riding horses.

Anyone participating in the stable's activities acknowledges being aware of these risks and undertakes to respect the safety rules in force within the establishment.

The Écuries de Beauregard cannot be held responsible for accidents resulting from reckless behavior or non-compliance with safety instructions.

11 – Intellectual property

The contents present on the Écuries de Beauregard website (texts, images, photographs, logos, videos and graphic elements) are protected by the provisions of
Book XI of the Code of Belgian Economic Law relating to intellectual property

Any reproduction or use of this content without prior authorization is prohibited.
